In a deep grotto lies a long abandoned prison: a mission begun by zealous priests of Saint Eudonia who wished to establish a new school of penitence for reforming criminals. The institution soon devolved into bloodthirsty chaos, prisoner and jailor trapped alike in a tortuous darkness of man’s own making. 

Those not dead at each other’s hand were soon set upon by primordial creatures who emerged from even darker reaches. 

Now, the dungeon lies still, echoing with the tumultuous churning of the near and far past, each equally stygian in its horror.
