Those potent in their faith and conviction have, over the West Midlands’ history, blessed our land and its people with miracles. These persons were once known as hierophants, guiding their naive congregations into knowledge of morality. Trodding the realm in the stead of higher powers, these spigots to the nectar of grace have since been labelled as saints by the Church, which claims authority over the right to identify and canonise those serendipitous enough to bridge the higher realms with our own. And, indeed, they thus have too been provided the power by the peoples of this land to condemn those no longer deemed appropriate of the title. Who are these people to claim this right? Who do they truly represent? Should they be entrusted with the consent to dole out judgements on the folk’s behalf? These are the questions one should bear in mind as I broach the subject of the treatment of the supposedly heretical saint Berenel, patron of unsuspect greenery, who now lies beneath me, in a chained tomb of iniquity, as I pen these words in fair and pious Clent.

- Discourse on the matter of hierophants and anti-saints (by Robert of Clent)

An Old School Essentials dungeon for adventurers of levels 1 and 2. Featuring three heretical saints condemned by the church, a secretive rat-men cult, and a giant serpent protecting its clutch of demonic rat-eggs.
